Hello, I’m Mengqi Shi.

I’m currently a student at the University of Washington in Seattle. My research interests lie in social computing and accessibility, though I’m still exploring other areas I might be passionate about. I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with animals (I have two cats!).

Currently, I’m working as research intern at AI4SG Lab at National University of Singapore.

I believe good design should start from good intend and shoule be inclusive, human-centered, and grounded in real needs. I care about using technology to support people’s emotions, memories, and daily lives—especially for those often overlooked.
